The Boring Stuff

We know you want to make sure your kids are safe with us, and that all the official stuff has been taken care of. This page fills you in with the important (but dull) details.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN

You should always make sure anyone who is working with your children has a Working With Children Check (that’s what it’s called in New South Wales). This is a requirement for anyone who works or volunteers in child-related work in NSW. It involves a National Police Check (criminal history record check) and a review of reportable workplace misconduct. Annette’s WWCC certificate is WWC2022326E, the currency of which you can check online.

You should also make sure anyone who is teaching your children to swim is a qualified first-aider. Annette is qualified to administer CPR and First Aid.

You also would want to know that anyone teaching your children to swim knows what they’re doing. Annette is an accredited AustSwim teacher. Austswim accreditation is the industry standard for Swimming and Water Safety Teachers. You can find out more about AustSwim here.

Annette is also an accredited TriNZ Level One Triathlon coach.
